Getting Here
Getting to and from Eugene is easy via the Eugene Airport on any of five carriers serving Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, Redmond, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Seattle or via Amtrak. Car rentals are readily available at the airport or community-based locations.

Eugene and Springfield are on the I-5 corridor, 195 miles north of the California/Oregon border, and 105 miles south of Portland.

Athletes will be provided with transportation from their arrival into Oregon until their departure. There are three main components of the shuttle system for athletes:

Eugene Airport Shuttle
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) will provide round-trip transportation from the Eugene Airport to the major hotel areas for a period of three days prior to the start of competition on June 27th until two days after the completion of competition on July 6th.

Portland Airport to Eugene Shuttle
Athletes who have entered the Olympic Trials and show as "qualified" on USATF's status of entry page are eligible to reserve a seat on the Portland to Eugene Shuttle for themselves and the individuals they have requested a credential or guest pass for during the entry process. Reservation must be made by June 20.

Athletes who meet this criteria and have not received the reservation form should contact info@eugene08.com to request the form.  Forms of non-qualified athletes will be discarded and no follow up notice will be sent.

Shuttles to Hayward Field
The LOC will provide transport during all days of competition and on the non-competition days that the facility is open.

Shuttles to South Eugene High School Practice Facility
For the three days prior to the start of competition until July 6th, shuttles will go from the major hotel/dormitory areas to South Eugene HS on a regular schedule. Athlete support personnel (coaches, agents, therapists) may also utilize the shuttles, space permitting.
