Free Festival! Eugene 08 Festival Details
Area residents and visitors are encouraged to attend the free Eugene 08 Festival which is being held in conjunction with the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field June 27th – July 6th on the University of Oregon campus near Hayward Field.
The Festival tents will cover Agate Street between 17th and 15th and then continue west on 15th Street to “Track Town Plaza” – the turf field between the West Grandstand of Hayward Field and the Student Rec Center. Click here for map of the Festival grounds.
Festival hours vary each day to match the competition schedule – and fans without tickets can watch a live broadcast of the competition on jumbo video screens in the Festival.
Each day of the Eugene 08 Festival has a theme and the Festival will include entertainment and activities for all ages. A full listing of the Festival schedule, including daily themes, acts, and activities is here.
Entry gates close 30 minutes before the end of the Festival each day.
