The 2008 U.S Olympic Team Trials--Track and Field and the Eugene 08 Festival will strive to ensure that facilities and programs are accessible to all participants, with and without disabilities.  Your assistance in letting us know your needs in advance will ensure your enjoyment at Eugene 08. How do I request a reasonable accommodation in advance of Eugene 08?
IIf you require a reasonable accommodation, please contact us at least 10 business days prior to the scheduled time and date of the event you will be attending. Each request will be assessed in compliance with the ADA and requests are processed as they are received. How do I request a reasonable accommodation during Eugene 08?
If you require a reasonable accommodation during the Olympic Trials, please contact us at guest services at the Bowerman Building.  Each request will be assessed in compliance with the ADA and we will do our best to honor your request in a timely manner. It is the goal of the Eugene 08 to make the event fully accessible; however event planners may not be able to control last minute requests that exceed anticipated need for items that require hardware or uniquely skilled individuals to meet accommodations.

Is wheelchair accessible seating available at Hayward Field?
Yes. A number of seats have been set aside which are wheelchair accessible. Please see the following map to view wheelchair accessible seating locations.  Seating Map of Hayward Field   

I purchased tickets to Eugene 08 but now need accessible seating.  Is there a wheelchair seating ticket exchange process?
Limited wheelchair accessible & companion tickets may be available for exchange to individuals with a qualified disability or medical condition. For advance arrangements please contact the Oregon Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-WEBFOOT. For on-site same day exchanges, please visit the Eugene 08 ticket office at Hayward Field.

Is there accessible parking at Eugene 08?
Yes. Eugene 08 is encouraging all attendees to use the park and ride shuttles from South Eugene High School or Autzen Stadium in lieu of driving to Hayward Field.  Both locations will have ample ADA parking and the shuttles will be lift-equipped LTD buses. There will be limited first-come, first-served ADA street parking 13th between Agate Street and Franklin Blvd. See map.

Is there a Drop-Off location at Hayward Field? There will be a drop-off area for people with disabilities at the corner of 13th and Agate streets. See map.

Where can I find information on wheelchair accessible hotels/motels during Eugene 08?
The Convention & Visitors Association of Lane County Oregon (CVALCO) is pleased to offer assistance to spectators in locating accommodations, including those guests with accessibility needs. Check the Eugene 08 lodging page of the CVALCO website for booking and availability information or call CVALCO at 800-547-5445. A listing of properties indicating wheelchair accessibility is identified by the following symbol (é). Please contact the property directly for more details.

Are the Park & Ride shuttles to and from Hayward Field accessible?
Yes. Spectators with automobiles will be encouraged to use the free Park and Ride shuttle system. Park & Rides will be set up at South Eugene High School and at Autzen Stadium. LTD buses will deliver spectators to the entrance of Hayward Field and the Eugene 08 Festival. All LTD transportation shuttles will be accessible.  Please note that LTD buses only have 2 wheelchair bays per bus.  While it is unlikely, occasionally a wheelchair user might have to await another shuttle. However, shuttles are scheduled to run frequently and wait times will be limited.

Is there accessible parking at the Park & Ride locations?
Yes. Both Park & Ride locations at South Eugene High School and Autzen Stadium (link here) have ample accessible parking spots to accommodate spectators who have ADA parking placards.

Is there accessible transportation to/from the Eugene Airport?
All Eugene 08 LTD transportation shuttles for credentialed persons will be accessible.  Contact Budget Taxi (541-683-8294) for a lift equipped taxi cab.  Please note that limited hours of operation or availability may apply.

I heard that your town has a dial-a-ride/Ridesource bus service.  Can a visitor access Ridesource while in town?  How does the service work?
Visitors from out of town who are ADA eligible or who provide documentation of a disability that prevents them from using the scheduled, fixed-route city buses may use RideSource for up to 21 days without going through the application process. If a visitor stays for more than 21 days, he/she will be asked to submit a RideSource application to determine eligibility.  Please contact Ridesource through the Lane Transit District for more information and details about how to access this system.

Where are the accessible restrooms at Hayward Field?
Accessible restrooms are available under both the East and West Grandstands.

How do I make a request for an interpreter or assisted listed system at Eugene 08? 
Spectators can check out the headsets from Guest Services at the Bowerman Building. For a qualified sign language interpreter, please contact us at least 10 business days prior to the scheduled time and date of the event you will be attending. Each request will be assessed in compliance with the ADA and requests are processed as they are received.

Can I bring a service animal to Eugene 08?
People with disabilities will be allowed to bring their service animals into all areas of the facility where spectators are normally allowed to go.
